Wundervolle Reise

Life should not be a journey to the grave
with the intention of arriving safely
in an attractive well-preserved body
But rather to skid sideways,
champagne in one hand,
strawberries in the other,
body thoroughly used up,
totally worn out and screaming...

"Wooohooo!!....What a ride!!!!"

Yesss!!!.....What a ride!!!....though I dint have champagne and strawberry...neither i went to the grave (God forbid!! )...but yeah...with body thoroughly used up and throat completely exhausted with the 'screaming'....the day spent at Wonder la (amusement park) yesterday was thoroughly spectacular...magnificent and arduous...

We...a group of 11 guys started our trip at around 11:00 AM in morning (according to me it was pretty late...since the park opens at 11 AM itself and we were going to kill our 1 hr precious time in driving and reaching there.. :( )....Still..we managed to reach there by 12....and there was no more time to be wasted...

I could hardly stop myself waiting for anything anymore..and just jumped for the first ride..with all our group..The ride was a kinda train and pretty cool and cute ride..though it scared a few of us..and they just retraced their steps from going to the second one....'Maverick' - As the name suggests...it was a completely crazy ride.... a twister lounge...making u turn all over 360 degrees...then right ...left....all possible directions and dimensions u can move into....

The ride was quite breath taking and made another 3 players among us to go out of the match!! :P.

Then there was a series of all typical crazy dry rides......"Windmill" (you can guess what it would be like...the name portrays everything..The name is given by me..actually it is christened as 'Y-Scream' by the park!! :D)... Then there was "Drop zone"..an eccentric experience of free fall...Then we had "Techno jump"....It was like sitting on a giant kangaroo....hopping with so much speed and height...you'd actually jump and fly in the air for a seocond!!!....The only difference was that a kangaroo can not hop with same speed and height backwards....which this ride could do very well....Next..we almost became human-shakes in "Mixer"..though it was a slow and steady process... :)...I think you might have understood what the rides would be like.....better go empty stomach for them.

And yeah don't miss the Cine magic - virtual reality. Though not very great...it was fun to see the movie and get a feel of it!!!! :)

It was till 2:30 we enjoyed the dry rides....We had lunch at a theme park restaurant..and now it was the turn for water rides.....They were pretty cool and enjoyable...at least for me...being a typical water person!!! :)...Wonder splash, Banded Kraits, pendulum, Wave pools, twisters were typically awesome...but the front runners were "Lazy river" and the "Rain dance". We had fun of our life time at Lazy river..as the river was almost left for us only...to enjoy.....splash water on each other....making each other topple over in water..... it was so refreshening...

Then came the time for "Rain dance".... Hehehe...I dont think I need to describe this.... It was simply amazing....with all water falling on u...no light!! :P...except the laser beams and disco lights...For safety and security..there were separate chambers for guys and ladies...

It was really getting late...so we rushed to get ourselves dried up and then proceeded towards the "Giant Wheel"..Firmly straddling a 15 storey - high tower, it has a diameter of 30 meters and provides a bird's eye view of the park, surroundings and the city beyond....as it slowly turns on its axis.

The climax was with wonderful musical fountain and laser show...which were quite beautiful and relaxing.

By the time we came out...we were all full of adernaline and hardly ready to walk or talk!!..Still there was a long way to go back to the sweet home...and i really pity the guys who had to drive and take themselves and us safely to our nests!!!! :)

It was my second trip to Wonder la...but the experience was all tantamount to the previous one, I went a year back..... I really wonder...we paid so much..just for screaming...making a football of ourselves...feel something...we'd never dare to do...in our normal routine....

Life needs adventure....life needs change...speed up....Let it rock...let it go...let us ride it ..let it make us shout with joy..... "Wooohooooo!!! ..what a ride!!!" :)
