Video - Picnic near Kuju river | Chaibasa
Hello friends,
Last Sunday we went out for picnic at a place near Kuju river. We started from our home at Jhinkpani at around 8:35 am and reached our destination at 9:30. The place was serene, beautiful and magical enough to help you feel calm, relaxed, energized and appreciate the raw beauty of the nature. I skipped taking a dip in the cold cold water, but my son enjoyed it the most and that sort of compensated.
I enjoyed recording the joys of the picnic, the awesome food, smiles of the people and lots of dancing ( I didn't record myself doing that as I don't want to embarrass myself in my videos.. 😄).
The day started with yummy breakfast that included all goodie stuffs like sandwich, jalebi, poha, idli and tea ☕.
This was followed by a game of cards, antakshari and then lots of dancing. Guys too enjoyed their game of cricket, drinks 🍸 and taking dip in the Kuju river.
Kids made the most of the picnic with dance, games, playing with sand and then taking a dip on water.
The snacks(also chakhna) included fried peanuts, half boiled eggs, sprouts, paneer pakoda, gobi manchurian and chicken manchurian.
Our lunch included yummy mutton biryani, poori, chicken curry, raajma, rice, daal, paneer gravy, mixed veg, aalu sabzi, frymes and salad. For dessert we had fruit custard and gulab jamun ( one of the best I've had till date - soft, spongy and 😋).
The day culminated with a game of housie and prize distribution, after which we dispersed and came back home at around 7 in evening, tired, exhausted yet happy and peaceful.
