(Disclaimer: This article does NOT give any insights about the trading market, or any complicated financial terms or jargons like Bulls and Bears, brokers, traders etc. You can refer to the relevant places for stock market information of various stock exchanges. The article is a very basic tutorial or introduction to people who simply find it difficult to understand the whole stock trading process, because of the overloaded or complex information available over the internet and books. My main motive here is to educate people who are unaware of the benefits of stock trading, or simply choose to ignore the whole business just because of the lack of proper education and overwhelming information)

The article talks about the needs, risks and demands related to stock trading. Read more here>>>

  1. @Majnu

I prefer to comment here. If you notice the title, it says - "BASIC OVERVIEW", which means the most essential basics of Stocks. Some people like me, never understood or knew what stocks mean, and I would have never understood the whole process if I'd have not been lucky enough to get hands on, on the real life stock exchange. The article is just to help the novices or who are completely ignorant about stocks and related finances. I never mentioned anywhere that I will give some insights about all those financial jargons there. I am sorry, if you got disappointed with my post. I know what to write, and hence have already given the motive behind that.

If you are expecting me to let my articles showcase my learning in 5 years of work at the stock exchange, I am sorry, but I'd have to write a whole book full with jargons which may even surpass average stock traders vocabulary. Anyways, thanks for the comment.

  2. i know that one of my lines in that comment was a lil harsh. I was expecting this kind of an answer or atleast a rude gesture(thankfully its not rude :D).
ya it was only my expectation that i anticipated a lot from the article. ya but then again just being a human one expects. i do agree that my reaction was very spontaneous and straight forward.

this comment is just a way to put the message through...u may delete it

neways but wud still like to mention that it was not upto the mark which u generally set. cud hv been better even without jargons.(i am stating it with a nice gesture :))

    cheers!!

  3. Well, I don't know what standards are you expecting me to come up to. This article was a complete layman explanation for people to understand. I have interacted with many people during my work tenure and trust me, even the employees at stock exchange don't know much about loads of thing, except for what they are working on.

If you are expecting me to show some creativity in writing a basic tutorial, please enlighten me about it, in what way I can do that? My basic motive was to make it extremely simple and step by step info for any person who thinks the words like "stocks" and "finance" to belong to some alien world. I don't know how much purpose I solved.

  4. "please enlighten me about it" i m neither an expert on writing nor english...n in terms of finance/stocks i m a layman too.
for me to explain how it cud hv been better may end up as a subject or a beginning of debate. n i dont think this is an appropriate forum for the same, so i wud rather say leave it and its gud as the way it is.
an indication of truce (White Flag White Flag):D
