7 Lies You should Stop Telling Yourself!

When you aspire to alter the course of your life, be successful in your business, start a new venture, you may find the task quite challenging. You naturally start developing a sense of self-pity and automatically start neglecting the reasons that might be inhibiting you from enjoying a successful life.

According to Maria Robinson:

“You cannot go back and start a new beginning, but you can always start today and create a new ending.”

Sometimes it is good to take some time off your regular routine and observe your life to know what exactly has been holding you back, and then rectify things accordingly.
Many times knowledge of the things you may not want to know, but need to, can give you that necessary kick start and get the stuffs moving in your life. There are many lies that we keep speaking to ourselves, and no matter how well we can justify them, deep down in our hearts we know well that we aren't being truly honest to ourselves. Here listing below are few of those common lies:

1. I couldn't succeed because of that person : If someone has done wrong to you, its your responsibility to take charge of your life and make things work in your favour. Blame game can lead you nowhere except for getting more frustration from already screwed up things.

2. I don't have enough time for all this: From my experience, I have known that if you really want to do something, you will always find time for that. The trick is to know whether you really want to do it or not. Once you decide it, your day of 24 hours can easily be adjusted for you to spare enough time for your tasks.

3. I can't do it:
There is a huge difference between 'I can't do it' and 'I don't want to do it' . If you truly want to do something, believe that you can do it no matter what.

4. I am not that lucky:
Whining and moaning about your past failures can only make your already few friends run away from you. Even speaking such things to yourself can't change anything, except for ruining your mood and spoiling your day. What has gone can't be brought back, so it is better to let go of past failures, focus on your present and plan for your future accordingly.

5. I will try but I am not sure:
You may say that to appease someone else, but saying that to yourself is downright lie. You either do something or not do it. You can even 'want' to do it and 'not want'. Decide and take action. Staying midway does no good to anyone.

6. Life isn't fair:
If you are amongst those who think this often, then let me ask you something. Is someone else directing your life's course? Now don't start the blame game again. What I want to know is that you breath yourself.. right? No one else does that for you. Your hands and legs aren't tied; the shackles are just in your mind and once you break them and set yourself free, you will be able to take the charge of your life. And then life will always be fair for you, because you would know what to do and get the best out of it.

7. I don't have any thing to feel good about:
Are you sure you really don't have anything to be grateful for? You have the eyes to read this article, and if you can't be grateful of this simple gratification from the universe, ask someone who doesn't have this basic privilege.
Life itself is the best blessing for you, it is just your job to seek the path that is right for you. Be thankful for everthing that has made your life so beautiful.
